A Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Mike Sabino, founder of The Shoreline Tech Coach.

I was born and raised here on the Connecticut shoreline and have spent my life in the communities I now serve. After graduating from Albertus Magnus College in 2009, I built a career helping people understand and use technology with confidence. For more than a decade, I worked in technology consulting, training professionals, supporting end users, and helping people navigate complex software and systems.

Over the years, I realized that most technology problems aren't really technology problems at all. They're confidence problems. People often just need someone patient, approachable, and willing to explain things in plain English. That's what inspired me to start The Shoreline Tech Coach.

Like many families, I've spent countless hours helping my own parents with smartphones, tablets, streaming devices, online accounts, and all the technology that seems to change every year. Those experiences taught me that the most valuable thing I can offer isn't technical expertise—it's patience, understanding, and the ability to make technology feel less overwhelming.

Today, I help older adults and their families feel more comfortable with smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, AI tools, online safety, and everyday technology. My goal isn't just to solve a problem and leave. It's to help you understand your technology, feel more confident using it, and stay connected to the people and things that matter most.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my three rescue dogs—Dreyfus, Dakota, and Kal—or enjoying life here along the Connecticut shoreline. As a local resident, I'm proud to serve the communities of Westbrook, Clinton, Madison, Guilford, Branford, and North Branford.

Technology should make life easier. My mission is to help make that happen.
